Why I Write

I write novels about friendships, crushes, hope, dealing with self-doubt, finding where you belong as well as your soulmate. I like to think I’m just working through issues via my characters to help my readers work through theirs. The bumps along the road gave me a lot of material.

One thing I would like to show is how we focus so much on what we’re lacking that we lose sight of what makes us special and what we have to offer. It’s so easy to get caught up in the comparison game, but we were all created for a purpose.

I hope that through my books that I show my readers how we all have something unique and special to offer the world and that we should highlight that instead of trying to make up for what we feel we lack.
The main thing has always been about helping others feel less alone in what they're feeling and going through and giving them hope.
