Book Review: Wham! George Michael and Me: A Memoir by Andrew Ridgeley

Finished Wham! George Michael and Me: A Memoir by Andrew Ridgeley this week. It was interesting reading about their path to stardom. I loved hearing about their musical influences growing up that helped shape them because Andrew went deeper into it than George did in past interviews. 🎵

George was my inspiration for my pop star romance series and I had Andrew's album, Son of Albert, too (ask my mother how I played Red Dress non-stop). I loved reading about their time before the band took off and it was fascinating learning the behind the scenes info. Just a very well written memoir that's respectful to everyone he writes about. I read a lot of music memoirs, bios, etc. for my writing research and this is one of the best I've read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
